About me
With 10 years of professional practice, a big part of my ongoing development has been formed through my own experiences of living with anxiety and depression, which allows me to be able to relate to how you might be suffering. Counselling has enabled me to build self awareness, self empowerment and better strategies and tools to cope with anxiety in daily life. I can help you do this too.
Whatever you're going through, we can explore together the best way for you to move forward.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from a BACP accredited college.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), the largest professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK. My practice complies with stringent ethical and professional guidelines. I have full DBS (CRB) certification, professional indemnity insurance and clinical supervision.
I have a dedicated therapy room at my home near Dartford in Kent, as well as offering outdoor, garden based therapy in a picturesque and peaceful setting.
In addition to my private practice I also work for a community mental health provider where I work with clients who have long term severe mental illness. I also have experience working as an independent mental health advocate and occupational therapy.
I offer an initial telephone assessment session free of charge for new/prospective clients. Please contact me to arrange this.
