About us

Clinic Autism London is a specialist neurodevelopmental clinic in central London providing private Autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people and adults.

We support individuals and families who may be looking for greater clarity around differences in communication, social interaction, attention, executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation or everyday functioning. Some people come to us after years of uncertainty, while others are referred following concerns raised by family members, schools, universities, employers or healthcare professionals.

Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced professionals from psychiatry, psychology, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. We aim to provide a thoughtful, respectful and neuroaffirming assessment experience, with particular attention to the individual rather than relying on a single test or isolated observation.

Autism assessments are carried out using a multidisciplinary approach and may include ADOS-2, detailed developmental history using tools such as ADI-R or 3Di-5, psychiatric or psychological assessment, parent or caregiver interviews, school information and multidisciplinary clinical discussion. Where appropriate, we also gather information about communication, sensory needs, daily living skills and educational or occupational functioning.

We also provide specialist ADHD assessments for children and adults. These may include structured clinical interviews, validated questionnaires, developmental history, information from family members or schools where relevant, and psychiatric assessment. Where appropriate, individuals diagnosed with ADHD may also be supported with psychiatric follow-up and discussion of treatment options.

Our assessments are informed by NICE guidance and UK clinical best practice. We aim to produce clear and detailed reports that explain the assessment findings, diagnostic outcome and practical recommendations for next steps.

Alongside Autism and ADHD assessment, Clinic Autism London provides a range of related services including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, psychological therapy, psychiatric consultations and post-diagnostic support. We can also provide guidance for families navigating educational support, school-based recommendations and EHCP-related needs where appropriate.

We understand that seeking an Autism or ADHD assessment can feel like a significant step. Our approach is designed to be clear, collaborative and person-centred from the first enquiry through to feedback and recommendations. We take time to understand each person’s strengths, needs, history and current difficulties, and we aim to ensure that the assessment process itself feels respectful and supportive.

We welcome children, adolescents, adults and families from across London and the wider UK. Face-to-face appointments are available at our central London clinic, with online elements offered where clinically appropriate.

Our aim is not only to determine whether diagnostic criteria are met, but also to help each person better understand their individual neurodevelopmental profile, strengths, support needs and possible next steps.

Additional note: Turkish-speaking Autism and ADHD assessment and support are also available for individuals and families who would prefer to access parts of their care in Turkish.
