About me

A warm, supportive space to make sense of what you have been or are going through, at your pace, in your way.

I am a fully qualified and National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) accredited counsellor and a qualified hypnotherapist, offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is going on for you, at your own pace.

I work using a combined therapeutic approach, which means I tailor how I work to you as an individual rather than expecting you to fit into one particular model. My focus is always on building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe, heard, and understood.

I have a particular interest in supporting those who have experienced, or are currently experiencing, domestic or narcissistic abuse, as well as those living alongside addiction. I also work with people navigating anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, ADHD traits (diagnosed or not), menopause, and the longer-term impact of difficult or overwhelming relationships.

While my professional training underpins my work, I also bring a depth of personal understanding to these areas. I recognise how complex, confusing, and isolating these experiences can feel, and I aim to offer a space where you don’t have to explain everything from scratch or feel judged.

Alongside counselling, I can also incorporate hypnotherapy where appropriate, offering an additional way of working that some clients find helpful for relaxation, reducing anxiety, and creating positive change.

Clients often tell me they find me approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to. I place great importance on creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, even in the parts that may feel difficult, overwhelming, or hard to put into words.

I work in line with the NCPS ethical framework, ensuring that our work together is safe, confidential, and respectful at all times.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with how you see yourself, we can work together in a way that feels manageable and supportive for you.

Feel free to email to arrange an initial telephone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.
