About me
Life doesn't always go to plan and sometimes we may feel the need for some extra support or perhaps there has always been that nagging feeling that things could be better and you could feel better about life. Talking to a third party who does not know you can be daunting and sometimes it can be difficult to trust. Taking that first step can be a real leap of faith, and could set you on a path to gaining a better understanding of yourself and how you navigate certain circumstances and situations. It took me years to take that leap of faith and once trust was established it helped me make more sense out of my life and experiences.
My therapeutic approach is primarily a person-centred therapy model placing my client at the centre of the process. I use a range of theories but most importantly we will work as a team in a way that works for you and helps you to get where you want to be in life. I offer face to face or online sessions.
Please call/email me to discuss your needs, I love helping and connecting with people so even if you just want to ask questions about counselling and the counselling process I will happily discuss this with you. Working with individuals I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your needs. Call me and begin a new horizon by taking the next step today.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
