About me
My name is Claire, and I'm a counsellor who believes that even in the heaviest moments a little warmth and humour can go a long way. I specialise in supporting individuals, navigating anxiety, the aftermath of trauma (including child, sexual assault and rape) and those experiencing neurodiversity. It be autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or all of the above. This is something I intimately understand from my own journey.
I know life can feel overwhelming confusing, and let's be honest damn right unfair at times, but I also know how transformative it can be to have somebody in your corner helping you untangle the tough stuff with care and compassion (and maybe a dash of humour here and there).
Whether you are looking to rebuild rediscover or just survive the day today, I'm here to offer a safe nonjudgemental space where you can be exactly who you are. let's tackle life challenges, together, one step, one laugh, and one breakthrough at a time.
I offer online sessions, and we have a free initial 15-minute chat to see how it goes and if am the right fit for you. We can find time in your schedule that suits you and being online means you can choose a comfy space for our sessions.

I have had the privilege of working with individuals aged 14 and older, allowing me to connect with them during important stages of their lives. My experience as a school counsellor has deepened my understanding of the challenges young people face. Additionally, I have dedicated my efforts to a charity that provides vital counselling support for survivors of sexual assault, including those who have endured rape and child sexual abuse. It’s incredibly important to create a safe space for healing, and I am committed to being there for those in need.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
