Claire Reeves MBACP
You've done something amazing today. By visiting this site you have admitted to yourself that things can be better. That you want a little more from your life. We all do.
More happiness. More peace. More control.
I am sorry that things are not going so well for you. Let me assure you that you are in the right place. By seeking help you are taking the first brave step towards controlling your own happiness. Together we can start to find solutions tailored to you.
Dedicated to supporting you on a journey of self exploration, self-discovery and personal growth. I will be with you every step of the way: building a better, stronger you.
Life is full of challenges and our expectations can sometimes seem so far away from reality. It's normal to want to seek help, to reach out for support when life gets too much. That's where counselling can help. You're in the right place.
I use an integrative approach so that I can tailor the support to suit your needs and where you are currently on your journey of change. My main training has been using Psychodynamic and Person-Centred approaches. This means that I place a great deal of importance on building a trusting relationship, helping you to feel safe and secure enough to explore your difficulties but I am also skilled in making links to your past. Often current relationships and behaviours are a repeat of those from the past and are deep rooted in childhood experiences. Exploring these links can be useful in helping you to develop new, healthier ways of thinking and being. I am also a Certified NLP Practitioner, NLP Coach and Timeline Therapist.
I currently have 3 counsellors in training working alongside me at my private practice, who are all working towards their Masters in Integrative Counselling. The sessions are priced at a reduced rate of £35 for 60 minutes and there are currently appointments available on a Monday morning, Thursday morning, Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday afternoon. I would meet with you for an initial consultation to find out more about what you would like support with; explain the process and then match you to one of my team. If you would like to find out more about the counsellors in training then please do not hesitate to contact me or alternatively, you can view their profiles on my website: ww.clairereeves.org.uk.
My mission statement is to bring hope, empowerment and wellness to all my clients and ensure that each person who spends time in my sessions leaves a step closer to making the changes needed to improve their life.
I am here for you when you are ready...
