About me
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you can't shift, or not quite like yourself.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can begin to understand what's going on and find a way forward, at a pace that feels right for you.
I'm an integrative counsellor with training in CBT, person-centred, gestalt and transpersonal therapy.
I also work within a specialist eating disorder service and run a body image group. While I don't treat active eating disorders privately, this experience informs my work with self-esteem, body image and our relationship with ourselves.
I have additional training and often work with people experiencing anxiety, OCD and trauma.
I am also a trained clinical supervisor, (please see supervisor profile or email for more information).
Everyone's experiences are different, which is why I draw on a range of approaches to tailor therapy to you and what you need.
In our first session, we'll begin to explore what's brought you here and what you'd like to be different.
We'll look at the whole of you- mind, body, emotions and (if it feels right for you) a deeper sense of self- making sense of how your experiences have shaped you.
With this awareness you can challenge patterns of behaviour, relationship problems, anxiety, low mood, anger, depression or anything else that is becoming an obstacle to your life and wellbeing.
I look forward to working with you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
