About me
While therapy isn’t about giving advice, as a humanistic integrative therapist I offer empathic understanding alongside gentle challenging of perspectives to help you process emotions and change behaviours that don’t serve you well.
Life is complicated, and part of being human is contending with an array of emotions, challenges and relationships, which often become unbalanced. It can be difficult to navigate these ‘bumps in the road’ and we may feel overwhelmed and stuck. For many of us, we are struggling with past traumas or present conflicts, and often both, so finding a way forward can seem incomprehensible. I understand how despair feels, and I also know that the possibility of change is within us all. I am committed to providing a collaborative space so clients can safely explore their thoughts, feelings and interactions and I practice an integrative approach that facilitates real transformation.
I work both with individuals and couples, and with neurodiverse clients. I am also a trained grief counsellor. I offer both online or in-person (in Brighton).

Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a recognised professional qualification from the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB).
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Assessment session
This session focuses on what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to achieve and any questions you may have about the process. There is no obligation to continue with counselling. 30 mins | £25
Counselling session
All counselling sessions will be weekly and at the same time either online or in-person, based on availability. At least 48hrs prior notice is required for session cancellation. All terms and conditions will be outlined within a counselling contract. Discounts available for students and government frontline workers. 50 mins | £55
