About me

Life can be tough and we all have ups and downs, but sometimes the down times become difficult to ignore and have a negative impact on our lives. You may be feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions, past experiences, relationship issues or life transitions - counselling can help. I can provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore and make sense of your thoughts and feelings without any fear of judgement.

How I work

I am trained in and use a combination of different methods to suit the needs of each individual client. I provide a supportive and empathic environment for you to express yourself freely and gain a deeper self-awareness. Therapy is a collaborative relationship, I work alongside my clients so that, together, we can identify challenges, gain insight and work towards an improved sense of well-being.

My approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life and that you have the power to make meaningful changes that align with your values and aspirations.

There are times in our lives when we may feel stuck - you may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma or other life or relationship challenges, I will work with you to identify your goals. Together we can work towards reaching some understanding, acceptance and perspective to help you move forwards.

I work with individual adults and couples, offering short-term work for those wanting to focus on a particular area or issue and also long-term work where we can develop a more in-depth exploration into specific areas of your life or patterns.

I have experience of working with many issues and struggles - however, we don't need to be in distress to benefit from counselling. You may "not feel yourself", be unsure of your identity or need someone independent to really listen to what's going on for you right now.

I welcome you to get in touch and have a chat.
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation.

Further information

I have a comfortable therapy room in Leamington Spa where I provide individual and couples counselling to people for a range of issues. There is wheelchair access. I work alongside my clients and am able to adapt to their needs, drawing from several methodologies that I am trained in, including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Person Centred Therapy, TA (Transactional Analysis), The Psychodynamic Approach and NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming). Couples come to me to help navigate their way through problems from communication issues to facilitating a breakup. I have completed further training to specialise in fertility counselling.
