About me

I wonder if you may be experiencing feelings and emotions that are causing you anxiety creating overwhelming sensations to emerge.

Or you may be feeling sadness or emptiness within which is triggering feelings of being lost and unsure of the meaning and purpose to life.

It can be very difficult to deal with these feelings and takes courage to ask for help and support.

The therapeutic relationship is where we can be understood and explore our thoughts, feelings and sensations that may arise within.

When we have a safe space to explore and be heard without judgement it can help us to open up and make sense of what is happening.

Practice description

My training is in Psychotherapeutic Therapy which is an Integrative model under pinned by Person Centered.

I also draw from Coaching and Mindfulness which have been a large part of my life for many years.

I believe there are many ways to help someone, the relationship between the client and the therapist is an important factor for change to take place.

Being heard and to feel unconditionally accepted can help to uncover and share your deepest concerns.

My first session

I offer a low cost 30 min meeting, which is an opportunity for you to ask me any questions about any concerns or expectations you may have. This may give you a sense as to whether you feel you would like to work with me.

If you, do I recommend weekly appointments, if possible, at the same time each week.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
