About me

I'm a Registered Counsellor working online and by phone with adults. My experience includes working with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, chronic illness, bereavement, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, sexual abuse, ADHD, autism and trauma.

If you're feeling unable to cope in your day to day life, and need to talk through your thoughts, I'm here to help.

I can support you if you're dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, depression or having difficulty in your relationships. I can help you deal with issues from the past, if you've experienced trauma, if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected.

If you feel that you aren’t able to fully express your feelings and are feeling lonely and isolated, I can offer you a place where you feel heard and understood.

It can be hard to deal with feelings and issues alone. I’ll be with you to support you to explore your feelings and the problems you are experiencing in a calm, accepting, non-judgemental space.

We can work together and I can be by your side as you talk about what you need to work through. Talking things through can help you recognise the resources you have within yourself and be able to look to the future.

Beginning counselling is a brave step but can be a huge source of relief, if you'd like to get in contact we can have a chat and see if counselling is right for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
