About me
*Now providing phone and video appointments*
Thanks for reading my profile, I'm Chris and I provide integrative Psychotherapy, Counselling and Supervision.
Are you feeling as though your mental and emotional well-being isn't good at present? Do you feel worried and/or fearful? Are you experiencing relationship problems, or do you feel alone with no one to share your difficulties with? Are you experiencing concerns such as bereavement or loss of a relationship? Have you experienced traumatic events? Have you experienced childhood abuse or neglect? Or, are you a victim of domestic violence? Therapy can help in the above and more.
Therapy can help you move beyond the limitations and hurts of the past. Not only am I a very experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, I also bring a genuine wealth of life-experience to therapy. And, as a PhD researcher I am also informed by current treatment options. Also, my experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, and as a Realization Process teacher, means I have additional therapeutic options to bring. I regularly incorporate mindfulness and embodiment exercises into therapy. My various training in countless psychotherapy disciplines and my extensive meditation and yoga training provide an evolving yet complete tool-kit from which to help calm the mind and move beyond emotional and mental pain.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and hope to use my experience to help you find greater well-being and to optimise your life in all ways. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to reach out. I am nonjudgmental - I do not discriminate, and am available to all who wish to take this brave step forwards.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
