About me

Hello, I'm Chloe, and I'm a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor. This means I am trained in a variety of different approaches and I integrate these according to your individual needs.

Everyone can experience challenges in life and sessions are your space to explore your thoughts and feelings, understand more about yourself and your own personal history, develop ways of coping and move forward positively.

My approach to counselling

My integrative approach draws on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural therapies, bringing in creative techniques where appropriate and focusing on connecting body & mind.

I value creating a space for sessions that feels safe, supportive, and tailored to you, and I believe that therapy works best when you create a genuine and positive relationship to feel seen, heard, and understood.

My role is to provide a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgemental relationship to aid you in reaching your goals. Taking the first step towards therapy is a courageous decision, and I am here to support your journey.

Next steps

I offer short, mid, or long-term sessions depending on your needs and goals. I currently have availability for online & in person sessions. I am based in Croydon CR0, but currently offer in person sessions in Anerley SE20.

I offer a free Introductory Call to all clients interested in starting counselling. This is a 20-minute telephone call or online meeting, which is a space for you to explore your hopes and goals and any questions you may have. It is also a great opportunity to get a feel for if you would like to work together. Please don't hesitate to get in contact to explore the options available.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
