About me
I primarily work with anxiety, depression, stress, improving confidence/self-esteem, motivation/performance, trauma, attachment styles and related relationship difficulties.
I am active in mental health research and use evidence-based practices to help you understand how you make sense of your experiences and why. While exploring the past is useful, it's important to understand the way these patterns influence how you think about yourself and your experiences in the present. Insight into how these patterns might be limiting your access to cognitive and emotional resources can create internal shifts that lead to long term change.
I combine Developmental Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, clinical Hypnotherapy, Human Givens Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy to help you generate useful insights, identify limiting patterns that don't work for you anymore, recognize and trust the strengths you have, and embed lasting changes.
Untangling a lifetime of feelings and thoughts can be daunting, but you don't have to do it on your own. Let's talk and see if I can help you figure things out and make some changes to take back control.
As effective therapy can be expensive, I offer reduced rates:
50 minute online sessions between 10am-2pm £55.
30 minute online sessions anytime £45

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
