About me

I offer a warm, inclusive, and respectful space where you can feel genuinely heard - whatever you are going through. My practice is rooted in a person-centred approach, supported by integrative training that allows me to adapt therapy to meet your unique needs.

We'll work at your pace, in an open and honest way, exploring different perspectives and possibilities together. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life – therapy is a space to help you reconnect with that inner knowing and discover what feels right for you. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of things and supporting you in finding your own way forward.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals facing complex trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. I also work with people navigating anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and grief - helping them explore their experiences with compassion and curiosity.

In addition, to my work with adults, I have supported young people in youth services and higher education settings. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply, unsure where to start, we'll focus on what matters most to you.

You don't have to face things alone - and you're welcome exactly as you are.

Training, qualifications & experience

My journey into counselling began with a deep passion for encouraging people to live more fulfilled, authentic lives. I've always been drawn to understanding others' experiences and the power of feeling truly heard. This led me to train as a counsellor so I could support individuals in navigating life's challenges with greater self-awareness, resilience, and hope.

I completed my counselling training through the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB).

  • Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (TC-L4)
  • Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CSK-L3)
  • Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)
  • Counselling MindEd - Counselling for children, young people & young adults.

I continue to develop my practice through regular professional training, supervision, and reflective work.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
