About me
I am a qualified counsellor offering a warm, inclusive, and respectful space where you can feel genuinely heard. I work in a person-centred and integrative way, tailoring therapy to your individual needs and what you bring.
I support adults experiencing complex trauma, addiction, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and grief. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive environment where we can explore what is going on for you at your pace, helping you make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I have experience working within therapeutic communities and specialist settings, alongside previous work supporting young people in educational and youth service environments.
I currently work with adults aged 18+ and welcome clients from all backgrounds.
You are welcome exactly as you are, and we can begin wherever feels comfortable for you.
If you would like to arrange an initial session or ask any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
Training, qualifications & experience
My journey into counselling began with a deep passion for encouraging people to live more fulfilled, authentic lives. I've always been drawn to understanding others' experiences and the power of feeling truly heard. This led me to train as a counsellor so I could support individuals in navigating life's challenges with greater self-awareness, resilience, and hope.
I completed my counselling training through the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB).
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (TC-L4)
- Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CSK-L3)
- Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)
- Counselling MindEd - Counselling for children, young people & young adults.
Therapeutic community (forensic setting) – work with adults presenting with complex trauma, addiction, and mental health difficulties.
Burton College – Young Person Counselling Service
I continue to develop my practice through regular professional training, supervision, and reflective work.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
