About me
Do you feel different? Or alone? Or like nobody really gets it?
Do you feel like you’re trying your hardest, but it’s still not good enough?
Do you want to feel better, or want life to be different, but you just don’t know how? Are you losing hope?
Maybe you’ve always felt like things were easier for other people, or that somehow everyone else seemed happier.
Maybe things used to be great but, somewhere along the way, something changed.
Maybe everything would be just fine if it weren’t for that one thing. Or if you could just figure out what the right decision was.
Whatever brought you here, and whatever you’re struggling with, what matters to you will matter to me.
I know that seeking help can be scary. I understand, and I remember, and I will do everything within my power to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible.
Specialisms
Neurodiversity - particularly ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD - Whether formally diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or questioning.
Depression - All forms.
Abuse - Domestic Abuse, Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse, Narcissistic Abuse, Emotional Abuse/Psychological Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse.
What will it be like?
I offer a confidential and safe space that is just for you. The space is yours for however long you need it, and completely free of judgement.
My style of counselling is collaborative, respectful, and relaxed, and I will do my all to make you feel safe, comfortable, and important.
Through our sessions, I will facilitate you to explore who you are and the experiences that have impacted you. We will work towards whatever goals are important to you, at your pace. This is different for everyone, but it may involve resolving current issues or dilemmas, healing from past pain or traumas, or making changes to live a more fulfilled and authentic life.
How I work
I am a qualified Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor, which means that I am trained in, and draw from, a range of different therapies, including Psychodynamic, Existential, Transactional Analysis, CBT, and Gestalt. This enables me to create an approach designed specifically for you, based on your unique personality, needs, preferences, and the issues you want to work with.
My core model is Humanistic/Person-centered, which means that I aim to form a collaborative relationship with you, in which you feel unconditionally accepted and empathised with. I believe you are unique, and that you are the expert on you and your experiences.
Will it help?
Whether you want to achieve a specific goal, or feel like you’re at breaking point and you just can’t cope, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I believe wholeheartedly that everyone can benefit from counselling. Even if you’ve tried before and it didn’t work, finding the right counsellor for you can make all the difference.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
