About me

I am a qualified counsellor. I offer long or short term counselling for adults aged 18+ aimed at improving emotional well being.

The therapeutic relationship is key in creating a safe environment. I am able to offer a confidential space, my approach is empathetic and non-judgemental.

I work with adults on a variety of concerns. These include: anxiety, depression, isolation, addiction and those listed below.

I have a variety of counselling experience with a diverse client group. I most recently worked with clients with an addiction. The work focused on reducing or abstaining from a substance or alcohol, understanding the addiction and reasons behind it.

My training is in Transactional Analysis.

I adhere to working within NCS ethical guidelines.

I have supervision with a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist.

I am insured to work online and face to face.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
