About me

Welcome to my profile.

You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, stress, or simply feeling that something isn't quite right. At times, we can find ourselves struggling to cope with life's challenges on our own.

I am a registered counsellor working with clients from a broad range of backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent. I work with young people and adults aged 18+. I welcome clients of all ages and life experiences. I provide an inclusive, affirming and non-judgemental therapeutic space for people seeking support with a wide variety of concerns

Individuals

I offer online and in-person counselling in a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will explore experiences, repeating patterns and emotions that may be contributing to your difficulties.

Therapy is a collaborative process, tailored to your individual needs. Sessions are guided by what feels most important and are paced to suit you. My aim is to support your emotional wellbeing throughout your therapeutic journey. I aim to build a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages greater self-awareness, resilience and self-compassion.

Couples

I work with couples experiencing a wide range of relationship challenges, including communication difficulties, parenting differences, frequent conflict, and feeling disconnected. My approach is collaborative, recognising that every relationship is unique and shaped by each partner's experiences and circumstances.

I provide a safe and non-judgemental space where both people can express their thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of how to improve communication, identify shared goals and find practical ways to strengthen your relationship.

About my practice

I am committed to providing ethical and professional counselling. My work is supported through regular clinical supervision with a UKCP registered Supervisor and Psychotherapist. I hold full professional indemnity insurance and am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). As a member of the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA), a registered member of the BACP and an accredited member of the NCPS, I adhere to the ethical frameworks and professional standards of these organisations.

BACP

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals who experience ADHD and related neurodivergent experiences, including autism, rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I recognise that these experiences can affect emotional wellbeing, relationships, self-esteem, work and daily life in many ways.
