About me

Qualified counsellor based in Hastings, East Sussex. I work with individuals seeking counselling for issues such as anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship problems, stress, bereavement and loss.

I am a qualified BACP registered counsellor and a NCS accredited counsellor, having trained in Transactional Analysis counselling. I am based at the Wellington Centre, Hastings a town centre location accessible by car, bus and train. I also offer online sessions from a confidential environment.

I currently work for Anxiety UK as an Anxiety UK Approved Counsellor supporting clients with anxiety, social anxiety, depression and other related anxiety disorders. My previous counselling experience includes working in the volunteer sector within Substance Misuse, Young People and Perinatal Mental Health Services.

I offer a confidential environment to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences to understand them better and increase self awareness. My aim is to develop a therapeutic relationship so that you feel comfortable to talk about your experiences. In the shorter term this gives you the opportunity to address current issues, longer term it can help to explore issues on a deeper. My approach is open and warm.

My practice is supervised to support my work with clients and I am committed to extending my knowledge by attending further study. I adhere to the BACP Code of Ethics.

If you require any more information please contact me via email or a phone.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
