About me
Hello , I am so pleased you landed on this page you are so welcome here.
I'm Charlotte and I also struggled to find someone who would see me and hear me when I was going through turmoil. This led me into wanting to know more about human behaviour , thoughts and feelings. Counselling is something I feel passionate about and I believe healing is within reach.
I wonder if you feel that you are ''too much'' and live with a ongoing fear of rejection and a sense of Generalised Anxiety and low confidence.
Often you hear yourself say ''who can I trust''
You may worry when people leave you leading to feelings of low mood and depression.
In relationships you may push your partner away or cling tightly too them.
you may feel the drive to please others most of the time and struggle to do what you want to do, or even know what you want in life.
These reactions are not flaws, they are ways you learned to cope when something painful happened.
How I can help
- I offer a safe supportive space where you can talk openly about your experiences and how they affect you today

- We can work through feelings of loss, anger, or confusion.
- I can support you to feel more secure and confident in yourself
- I can help you build healthier boundaries
- I can support you in creating steadier, more fulfilling relationships.
What Healing can look like
- Healing doesn't mean forgetting what has happened it can mean:
- Trusting yourself and others more
- Choosing relationships that feel safe and balanced
- Feeling more settled and secure
- Feeling less afraid of being left
- Being able to manage anger more effectively

What Clients Say'' Thank you for your support , guidance, listening ear, patience, and non judgemental approach over the past three years . I have found my sessions very difficult at times , but the outcome has always been beneficial. I have learnt a great deal about myself , which I would not have done without you, I also feel that having been in a very dark place , I have regained myself belief, strength and learned to love myself a little more. In the nicest possible way, I hope I won't need to see you again, but if I do I will not hesitate in contacting you . Thank you so much''
''Charlotte has been amazing. She has supported me through a wobbly time in my life, dealing with menopause, ADHD diagnosis, work, burnout, children leaving home, boarding school and relationship issues. I have cried, laughed, talked until I was hoarse and really off loaded. Charlotte helped me understand certain behaviours and I am now much kinder and forgiving of myself. She has enabled me to draw boundaries and to ensure that I feel comfortable with my decisions. I feel far more at peace, life is less tormenting and I am certainly a happier person for the incredible support I received''.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
