About me
Recognising that you no longer wish to be where you are right now, is the first step in the next version of you.
We each have stressors or events in life that can affect us and, at times, these can be overwhelming, impacting us significantly. Working with a counsellor to explore, and work on, what you are experiencing, can bring self-awareness, insight and personal growth. We would work together to enable you to build resilience, reduce stress levels and manage difficult times in a more positive way.
I can work with you either F2F or online via video call or via telephone, whichever suits your circumstances best.
My passion and purpose is to work with you through the current difficult time you may be having, and to help you identify a way forward. I work creatively with clients and feel very privileged when clients choose me to work with them.
I have 13 years Counselling experience, working with clients across a wide spectrum of issues including Addiction, Suicidal Ideation, Self-harm, Relationships, Bereavement, Loss, Divorce, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Work-related issues, Stress and Elder care.
Although trained in Person-Centred therapy, I have an Integrative and creative approach to working with clients and strive to work collaboratively with each client to help you achieve a positive outcome from your counselling sessions.
I also have a vast knowledge and understanding of the EAP & PMI sectors, and managing teams at a senior clinical and operational level.
Additionally, I have Coaching, personal/professional development and performance management experience. I have also provided Managerial Consultancy and Critical Incident management.

I am qualified to Post-Graduate level with a PGDip Counselling, in 2014, from the University of Strathclyde
I value the rich experience working with a client brings. I work creatively with clients and love working with people to help them achieve a happier and more fulfilling way of being.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
