About me

No one is exempt from life’s ups and downs, and these experiences can often be complicated, leaving us feeling stuck.  I support clients to find a path towards self-awareness, healing and personal growth through the shifting of patterns, perspectives and cycles - at their own pace. If you feel ready, I would be honoured to help. Remember, you are not alone in this.

Previous Concerns Explored

I have experiencing working with a range of difficulties which include and are not limited to; loss and bereavement, depression, emotional abuse, the impacts of childhood trauma, parental wounds, anxiety, low mood, relationship problems and more.

Relational trauma and grief are my special areas of interest. This means I support clients to understand how distressing life events and generational patterns influence our thoughts and perceptions of the world, as well as navigating the grief cycle following a loss.

My Therapeutic Approach

With my warm and deeply empathic approach, my goal is to meet you where you are. I strive to create a non-judgemental and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This environment allows you to be you, in a space that is nourishing and encourages you to become more self-aware and take the steps needed to become the most authentic version of yourself.

As I believe that the relationship between us is important for a cohesive and meaning therapeutic relationship, all our sessions will be collaborative. Together, we can work towards building resilience, fostering self-compassion, and creating lasting change. I look forward to working with you on your journey toward greater well-being and fulfilment.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
