About me
Hi,
I am Chancy,
I know that finding a therapist can be a daunting task, and not one to be taken lightly. I think that the basis of any good therapy, is a good relationship. Whether it is with me or someone else, I would like to wish you the very best in your therapy journey. With hard work and commitment, it can be transformative.
I first trained as a psychotherapist at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic in North London, and then completed my Clinical Psychology doctoral degree at the University of Hertfordshire. I have worked in mental health for the last 15 years and within the NHS since 2010. I have primarily been based in East London working across psychiatric inpatient wards, as well as in community mental health teams. I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and older adults and with a variety of difficulties. The reason I founded The Sycamore Private Practice, was so that I could work with you at your own pace. Giving time and space to what matters, you.
Whatever you are going through, no matter what you are feeling, please get in touch and together we can think about a tailored therapy plan so that you can move forward in whatever way you need.
