About me

Hello, I'm a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working with adults and young people. I offer online therapy and life coaching. If you’re feeling distressed, lost and overwhelmed, I can help you make sense of why it’s happening and give you the support, guidance and tools you need to feel better. I have particular expertise in anxiety, depression, PTSD, midlife crises and OCD. I understand that tolerating intense distress can be incredibly difficult and that everyone is different, so I aim to meet people where they are at and go at their pace, whilst being mindful of the goals they want to achieve. Do get in touch if you think I'm the right therapist for you!

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm trained and draw on different models depending on what feels a good fit for the client. These include: Compassionate Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, Gestalt and Narrative Exposure Therapy.

I work in the NHS and in the past have worked for the charity Combat Stress, helping military veterans; both men and women. My NHS experience includes adolescents and adults.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
