About me
Therapy is deeply personal and every client arrives for different reasons. I offer a warm, compassionate therapeutic space where we will work together on whatever it is that has brought you to therapy, which may include: anxiety or depression, issues with self-esteem, lack of purpose, anger or addiction, problems in relationships or sex, loss, historic or current abuse, or a sense of being stuck.
My psychotherapeutic training is in Transactional Analysis, a model that helps people to understand why we think, feel, and behave the way we do, supporting them in making positive changes to their lives. TA forms the basis of my work, but depending on the your needs, I might draw on other therapeutic approaches such as Psychodynamic, where your past informs your present. As a qualified counsellor I offer a confidential space to focus on you. By listening with non-judgemental compassion I can support you in working towards positive change.
Please make contact to arrange a mutually convenient time for a free, no obligation, 30 minute telephone conversation. The initial consultation is to see if we feel we can work together therapeutically as well as for you to tell me about yourself, and what brings you to therapy.
