About me
I am a MBACP Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and a member of the UKRC with over 27 years of clinical experience within the NHS and my own Private Practice.
I am approved by the Matrix Counselling Centre to Supervise students in Training and for Personal Therapy.
I see people from Halesworth, Southwold, Lowestoft, Beccles, Norwich and surrounding areas
I am approachable and thoughtful, offering a safe non-judgemental and confidential space both physically and psychologically where you can think and make sense of your experiences.
People come to see me for a variety of reasons such as: Abuse, Addiction, Anger, Bullying, Bereavement, Body Image, Confidence issues, Depression, Disordered Eating, Generalised Anxiety, Loss, Low Self-Esteem, Relationship Problems, Hypnotherapy for Smoking, Weight Loss and other issues, Obsessional Behaviours and Trauma.
I offer confidential time-limited counselling as well as open-ended psychotherapy.
Counselling tends to be short-term work from 6 weeks to 6 months, while psychotherapy is medium to long-term 1-2 years being the average.
At your Assessment we will begin to explore the areas of difficulty in your life and then together we will decide on your individual needs that will help empower you to deal with the problems raised.
If you decide we can work together we will arrange a regular time to meet.
I work with individuals, couples, children and families to help overcome the difficulties and challenges we face in our daily lives that can become overwhelming and affect our relationships with our work or our personal and professional judgements.
I also run Training Workshops and offer Supervision to other Therapists and Clinicians.
I offer telephone counselling and Psychotherapy, Face to Face as well as , Face Time, Zoom and skype sessions online to those who would prefer or are at a distance away. I am here to support you or your families mental health needs. You are not alone.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
