About me
I provide therapy/counselling in Worcester and online to help you build self-trust, ease overwhelm, and feel confident to live life on your terms.
Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, or like you're the only person who doesn't have their life together. I understand what's it like to feel as though life is too much, to have an inner self-critic that tells you you're not good enough, to spend hours worrying about the 'what ifs'. But you don't have to keep feeling this way.
How I work
As a person-centred therapist, I give you a warm and personalised space to help you decide what you want from life, and how to navigate it in a way that feels right for you.
We might spend an hour in deep discussion on something that's happened to you, or we might use creative techniques to unpick your jumbled thoughts and emotions. I'll bring my curiosity and expertise to share insights and provide a therapeutic relationship in which you feel accepted and able to be yourself.
We'll work together to make changes, find calm and gain clarity.
What I can help you with
- Grow your confidence and your understanding of who you are
- Calm overwhelming thoughts and feelings, allowing you to experience challenging emotions without feeling controlled by them
- Navigate relationship issues and conflict, learning how to be yourself in your relationships
- Quiet your inner self-critic so you can move more comfortably through your life
Whilst I can help with a range of issues, I have a particular interest in working with low self-worth and low self-esteem. Often, that feeling that you're not good enough is behind many common mental health problems, meaning that if we can work on your relationship with yourself, we can help you grow in many more ways.
Alongside this, some of the areas I have a particular interest in working with are:
- Anxiety and/or depression
- Entering adulthood
- Perfectionism
- Stress
- People-pleasing
- Gender transition

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
