Byron Athene
About me
I believe a happier existence revolves around relationships - primarily the relationship you have with yourself and how this impacts the relationships with others and the world. Sometimes these relationships become ruptured, and if not repaired, psychological disturbances may result. As a therapist, I will work with you towards restoration and promote psychological well-being and growth. This means helping you to access the necessary inner resources to experience a greater sense of free will and a higher sense of achievement and fulfilment.
I'm a Counselling Psychotherapist and Certified Mindset Coach, who is attuned to the pluralistic framework. This means I will be flexible and can use a variety of approaches to work with you in the best way that suits the issue and your personality. I'm also a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Life Coach and a qualified hypnotherapist.
If you're interested in a free 30 minute consultation or would like to explore the possibility of starting sessions, feel free to call me or send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
