About me
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor, with coaching skills also, and am currently training as a supervisor.
I work face to face with clients from my quiet and comfortable consulting room, and I also offer telephone and online counselling. My aim is to create a safe, welcoming and professional space, whether in the room or online, and to support you to achieve lasting and positive change.
My training was in person centred, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic modalities, and I now work integratively with clients to blend therapies to find the most effective way of working with you.
As part of my Practice, I am an affiliate counsellor with a Kent based charity offering trauma based counselling to anyone affected by crime, and with EAP providers using Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
My employment background has always been working directly with people, and includes 22 years within the Third Sector with small and national charities within the area of Criminal Justice, supporting victims and witnesses of all crime. I spent some time in self employment, and am familiar with the pressures and challenges this can bring to personal and family life.
If you would like to book an introductory call, and I will respond to emails on the same day if possible, and certainly aim to do so within 48 hours.
