About me
How do you prioritise self care when it doesn’t even make it onto the list most days? How do you retain your relationships and emotional connections with the people you love, when you can’t bring yourself to answer the phone for millionth time that day? I’m not a business coach. I’m a Psychotherapist in business, who has done the 4 years of weekly therapy, returns to therapy when I need to screw my head back on, in a world that continues to be organised chaos. People like us don’t go to therapy because we just don’t have the time. So flexibility, patience and straight talking therapists, like me, are necessary, for people like us.
I’m not going to give you the answers. I’m not going to tell you what you need to fix to make it all okay. But, real movement, comes from a personal growth that you just don’t have to tools or the space to discover, YET! That’s why you’re here reading this, because your looking for an answer you can’t find on your own.
Trying to find balance, self compassion, and all those wonderful things in the podcasts and the inspirational biographies that you half read/listen to and don’t finish, is one of the hardest things anyone in the business world can do. I get it. You’re stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated, exhausted probably, not just with business but with life. I get it.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist, Registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am experienced in working with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and low self-esteem. My professional background has been in working with Autistic young adults with non-verbal communication. However, the majority of my career has now been running a successful franchise over the last 7 years. Experiencing first hand, the trials and tribulations but personally and professionally, and it’s not over, it never is. That’s why I GET IT!
My approach combines different techniques associated with Person Centred Therapy and Transactional Analysis, along side attached and neuroscience. Combing these theoretical approaches, can support you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your difficulties. But don’t worry, in the room the clinical stuff is a background feature, the session typically are a conversation, some type deep, sometimes not, whatever it is you need to find movement in yourself And your circumstances.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
