About me

There are times in life when we can feel a little lost at sea.

Whether you’re feeling anxious, low in mood, overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, or simply sensing that something needs to shift, I’m here to support you.

I work with you to help make sense of your experiences, develop deeper self‑understanding, and attend to what matters most to you, believing that we all have the capacity to change.

I'm a firm believer that no matter what you might be facing, we all have the capacity to overcome difficulties and find healing.

I offer counselling that is warm, empathic, and client-centred. I believe that you are the expert in your own life - my role is not to advise or direct, but to work alongside you, offering a safe and supportive environment to explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and challenges at your own pace.

I draw on different counselling models so that our work together is tailored specifically for you, and will best suit your unique situation and goals.

Based just outside Cranleigh in Surrey, I offer flexible counselling options, including in-person sessions, secure online therapy, a blended approach, and walk and talk therapy for those who find being outdoors helpful.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

ACC
Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC)
