About me
Hi there, if you are struggling at the moment I would be happy to support you. I am a highly experienced BACP registered counsellor supporting adults with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationships, bereavement, and cultural identity issues.
I have many years of experience supporting people through a wide range of challenges, including stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and bereavement. My background includes working on an EAP counselling helpline and providing short-term counselling for private healthcare companies where I’ve supported thousands of people from many different walks of life.
I use an integrative approach, combining CBT strategies to support people with depression and anxiety, alongside a person-centred way of working that is warm, compassionate, and understanding. This means I adapt my approach to your individual needs and goals, so that therapy feels supportive and tailored to you. I am also trained in solution focussed therapy and have had fantastic results in as little as 6 sessions. It can feel a little more intense but the results speak for themselves. It’s my preferred way of working and is highly effective.
Taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, talk through what you’re looking for, and see if we feel like a good fit to work together.
My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported in moving forward. If we can have a few laughs along the way well that’s an added bonus. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
