About me

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, sad or worried? Maybe you’re struggling to juggle the many demands of life and feel like everything is getting to you. Taking the first step to getting help is a brave one and often one of the hardest parts. Together we will unpick what is going on for you and identify a way forward to help you get your life back on track. I know how difficult it can be finding a therapist who works with your schedule so I offer evening and weekend appointments.

Training, qualifications & experience

In my current NHS role I work as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead and I have over 10 years’ experience working in the NHS providing effective interventions for young people and adults.

As a Clinical Psychologist I am trained in a range of evidence-based therapies. I specialise in offering tailored psychological therapies for a wide range of difficulties delivered in a warm and compassionate manner.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
