About me
Healing is becoming a loving presence for the wounded parts of ourselves.
Everything else in my work flows from that understanding.
Rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I integrate somatic and transpersonal approaches to support deep, lasting healing.
Over the years, both through my own healing journey and my work as a therapist, I've come to believe that insight alone is rarely enough. Understanding our wounds is an important beginning, but healing unfolds when those wounded parts encounter compassion, safety and connection.
Rather than trying to eliminate anxiety, silence the inner critic or overcome difficult emotions, we learn to approach them with curiosity. We begin to recognise that even our most challenging parts developed for good reasons. As they are met with understanding instead of judgement, they no longer need to carry the burdens they have held for so long.
Who I work with
I work particularly well with highly sensitive, thoughtful people who long to understand and connect with themselves more deeply.
Many of my clients have spent years reflecting on their experiences, reading about psychology or engaging in personal development. They often arrive with considerable self-awareness, yet a quiet sense that something essential has not shifted.
Together we explore the patterns that continue to shape your life—whether that is anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties or the lasting impact of childhood trauma. We honour the experiences that have shaped you, while gently discovering that they need not define you.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person possesses an innate capacity for healing. Internal Family Systems calls this Self—a calm, compassionate and deeply wise presence that exists within us all. Others may experience it as inner wisdom, the Higher Self, the Sacred Heart or simply a profound sense of loving awareness. Whatever language feels most authentic to you, I believe it is through reconnecting with this presence that our deepest healing becomes possible.
How I work
Please note I currently offer sessions ONLINE ONLY via Zoom.
Therapy is not something I do to you, but something we create together.
Each session begins with whatever feels most alive in your inner world. Sometimes that means making sense of a current difficulty. Sometimes it means listening to a part that has never before felt safe enough to speak. Sometimes it means slowing down and allowing the body to complete what it has been holding for years.
My work is experiential as much as reflective. Alongside conversation, I may invite reflective parts work, writing, drawing, guided visualisation or somatic processes (presencing sensation, gentle movement, self-touch) - not as techniques to fix you, but as ways of helping your inner world experience something new.
My intention is never to take you deeper into your wounds than your own inner wisdom is ready for. We tend to the places that carry pain while continually orienting towards the resources of compassion, embodied safety and capacity.
My background
My path into this work began long before I became a therapist.
Like many of the people I now work with, I spent years trying to understand why I struggled with anxiety, self-criticism and painful relationship patterns. I explored psychotherapy, coaching, meditation and spiritual practices, searching for an approach that could reach beyond understanding into genuine healing.
Everything began to change when I encountered Internal Family Systems alongside somatic approaches to trauma.
For the first time, I experienced a way of working that brought genuine warmth and hope to my wounded parts. I stopped being at war with myself and blaming others and finally relaxed into the presence, love and acceptance I had always longed for. The inner shift started creating outer change.
That experience continues to shape the way I practise today.
An invitation
Beginning therapy is an act of courage.
Finding someone with whom you feel safe enough to explore your inner world matters just as much as the approach they use.
If something in these words resonates with you, I'd be delighted to meet you. Together we can create a space where every part of you is welcome, where healing unfolds at its own pace, and where you can gradually rediscover the compassion, wisdom and wholeness that have always been yours.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
