At Connect Counselling, I offer tailored counselling sessions for children, young people, and adults, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on your individual needs, strengths, and goals to support your emotional wellbeing and mental health.

I am based in Northumberland but also work in Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside areas.

I'm a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. My approach to my work is grounded in empathy, understanding, safety, and trust, helping clients to explore difficulties, make sense of their world and create meaningful change.
I have years of experience working with adult private clients, as well as counselling children and young people within schools settings and alternative provisions.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Additional information
- You can pay as you go or choose to pay for a block of six sessions if you prefer.
- I also offer a small number of reduced-fee spaces for students or those on lower incomes.
