About me

Hello, my name is Annie and I am a person-centred counsellor. I would like to offer my training and experience to walk alongside you as you navigate the challenges of life. I offer a safe, empathic and warm environment and therapeutic relationship, either in person in my counselling room at my home, or online. I offer short, medium or long-term counselling, to suit you and your needs.

I offer a free 30 minute online session for you to see if I am the right therapist for you.

I am in my late 50s and have spent my adult life teaching children, involved in youth work and pastoral care with adults. I am married and have brought up children who are now adults and having their own adventures. We are a close family, partly because of the ups and downs we have been through together.

I love my friends and family, walking in nature, reading, and being creative. My favourite place is to stand on the cliff top with the sun on my face, listening to the waves crashing on the rocks below!

Training, qualifications & experience

I have an advanced diploma in counselling, level 5.

I am a member of the NCPS and the ACC.

I have spent my adult life working with children, teenagers and adults. I have volunteered with various charities working with the Foodbank and with adults in addiction, sex work and prison.
