About me

I fully appreciate how daunting it can be contacting a Counsellor. You are welcome to contact me for a free, no obligation talk so I can answer any questions you may have and explain how I work. I hope you will find me down to earth, relaxed and friendly.

If you are feeling anxious, sad or angry and feel like relationships are difficult with a partner or family and friends then we could unpick your thoughts and feelings and try to help you understand yourself more. You might wish your relationships with others could be easier. Perhaps you are being too hard on yourself? Maybe you are over thinking, or worrying and feeling low for no reason? Let's look at the obstacles together and find ways for you to have a new perspective on life.

I specialise in working with young adults but work with all ages.

We can talk about what you are experiencing and how you would like life to be happier and more balanced. Counselling can give you a clearer frame of mind, a more positive outlook on life and better communication with others, allowing you to cope and feel more in control of your situation.

I have a down to earth and kind approach with an emphasis on building a non judgemental and trusting relationship with you. I offer a warm and caring space for you to feel heard and supported.

I am experienced in working online and enjoy working via Zoom or over the phone.

Online therapy offers flexibility for appointment times and you can avoid travel time and work from the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient to you.

I am now introducing Walk and Talk therapy, please contact me direct for more details.

If you want to find out more or have some questions call 07425 051459 for a free, no obligation chat, where we can discuss your needs.

You can also contact me via my website, counsellingwithanna.co.uk or drop me an email to counsellingwithanna@gmail.com

I am passionate about the positive changes that Counselling can bring to a person's wellbeing and lifestyle. Having the opportunity to be heard without judgement allows you to feel less alone with your own problems and see your thoughts from a different perspective. Wouldn't it be great to spend time on yourself, feel more in control and improve your quality of life?

What can you expect?

If we are working together online then you can choose an appointment time that is convenient to you. You will find Counselling an opportunity to focus on your own needs and concerns and to unravel those uncomfortable thoughts and feelings in a space that belongs only to you.

We can look at the best approach to suit you, number of sessions you want to work and what you hope to achieve through coming to counselling.

The outcomes could be a clearer frame of mind, a more positive outlook, feeling better about yourself and better communication with others allowing you to cope more with life.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
