About me
When life feels overwhelming, it's easy to get caught in cycles of worry or self-doubt that feel impossible to break. You might be struggling to manage a difficult relationship, feeling the weight of a recent life change, or simply finding that your usual ways of coping are no longer working. Taking the first step and looking for a therapist can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free consultation to see if we are a good match. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can make sense of these patterns and help you move forward. While I work with people from all walks of life on issues ranging from anxiety and life transitions to adult ADHD, I specialise in high-pressure environments, working with creatives and relationship dynamics. Having spent nearly two decades navigating the intense, fast-paced world of the music industry as an artist manager and executive, I have a firsthand understanding of what it means to struggle with uncertainty, burnout, and intense interpersonal stress. I offer grounded support that moves beyond textbook theory to address the messy reality of being human and what makes you uniquely you. Together, we can build a path toward a life that feels better and truly aligns with your values. Reach out today, and let's explore what that could look like for you
Training, qualifications & experience
My approach is grounded in a deep understanding of how the mind works and therapy that actually works. With postgraduate degrees in Psychological Research and CBT, my approach is evidence-based - incorporating elements of Compassion-Focused, ACT, and Mindfulness-based therapies to help you understand what is happening beneath the surface. My goal isn’t just to support you in our sessions, but to give you a deep understanding of yourself and the practical skills to navigate the hurdles of life.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
