About me
I offer a responsive, accepting approach that I tailor to you, to help you with the challenges of change, transition or feeling stuck.
I provide a safe space in which to process experiences, with opportunities to recover, find meaning, build resilience and safety. Stories matter - I bring empathy and curiosity to the way people tell them. I am warm, friendly, non-judgemental and easy to talk to.
Perhaps you are:
- in a life transition - becoming a parent, a new stage of parenting, (peri)menopause, ageing, career change or relationship change
- adjusting to or processing news of an autism or other diagnosis, for yourself or for a neurodivergent child or loved one (or wondering if diagnosis is something you want)
- a young adult - perhaps starting or struggling at university, adjusting to living alone or away from home, embarking on a career/education/training
- an older adult, adapting to change or limitation
- overwhelmed by global / political change
- experiencing societal pressures or expectations
- leaving, joining or changing within a religion - you may have experienced coercion, poor treatment or your beliefs and spirituality may be changing
Integrative Counsellors have working knowledge of several counselling approaches. I listen to you, to what you say you need, and pay close attention to what happens between us.
I am inspired and influenced by the Person-Centred Approach to counselling, where:
- there is genuine contact between counsellor and client
- clients feel understood and experience empathy
- there is unwavering acceptance of the client, without judgement
- I am self-aware and congruent (authentic)
Counselling helped me to process changes I have been through and aspects of life that I did not think could change. If you are seeking psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, grief, autism, noticing changes in your mental health or relationships, recovering from something - or anything else - I would love to hear from you.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
