About me

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed or uncertain, I’m here to help you navigate the challenges you're facing. As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I offer a safe and empathetic space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences, helping you understand what’s holding you back.

I specialise in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions and neurodiversity. Together, we’ll uncover the deeper patterns that influence how you think, feel, and relate to others, empowering you to create lasting changes that align with your values and goals.

Using a tailored approach that combines psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural techniques, I can help you:

  • Manage anxiety and stress with personalised coping strategies
  • Overcome depression and build a renewed sense of purpose
  • Improve relationships and enhance communication
  • Embrace your neurodiversity and tackle challenges in a way that works for you
  • Navigate major life transitions with clarity and confidence
  • Build self-esteem and personal growth

Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, addressing both immediate concerns and deeper underlying patterns. I’m here to support you in moving forward, gaining clarity, and developing the tools you need to live a more fulfilling and empowered life.

I’m a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. As a registered member of BACP, I adhere to their ethical framework to ensure safe and effective practice.

I have a BSc in Psychology for Lancaster University.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Contact Me

I understand that choosing the right counsellor is a significant decision. To help you feel confident in your choice, I offer a free 15-minute video consultation. This informal session gives us a chance to talk about your needs, address any questions, and discuss how I can support you. It also allows you to get a sense of whether my approach feels right for you. There’s no obligation to continue afterward—this is simply an opportunity to ensure you feel at ease before beginning your counselling journey. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel challenging, but it’s a courageous and caring choice for yourself. If you’d like to learn more or arrange an initial consultation, I’d be privileged to support you.
