About me
Ticked every box but still feel something is off? If life looks sorted on paper but feels empty on the inside, I help adults in their 20s and 30s find real clarity in their work, relationships and sense of self, so life can start to feel genuinely like their own.
Right now, you might feel exhausted, disconnected, and like you're just going through the motions of a life that doesn't quite fit anymore as you change and grow. Together, we create a calm space to step back, untangle the bigger picture, and see the wood from the trees.
I work integratively, with person-centred roots, adapting our sessions to your pace, your background, and what you need in the moment, rather than following a fixed formula. I frequently work with people who appear successful, capable and composed on the outside, but privately feel like they're watching their own life from a distance, unsure when it stopped feeling like theirs.
I offer:
Online Psychotherapy: Space to figure things out from the comfort and privacy of your own home, fitting easily into your week with zero travel hassle.
Walk & Talk Therapy: Combining professional support with the grounding, stress-lowering benefits of walking in fresh air, held outdoors across Rushcliffe and South Nottinghamshire.
You don't have to have it all figured out before you reach out. I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call so we can connect, chat through what you need, and see if I feel like the right fit for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an MA in Counselling (Level 7), a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice, and a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory. I am a BACP Registered Member and an Accredited Registrant with the NCPS. I began my training, and my time in the therapy room, in 2012.
I bring particular depth to bereavement (including additional specialist training with Cruse), baby loss, redundancy, and questions of faith or spirituality, alongside my core work with identity, purpose, and life transitions.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

A little about me outside the therapy room: I think running is the best form of transport, I firmly believe Ted Lasso is therapy in TV form, and I have a genuine love for a good cardigan and a cardamom bun. Deep, honest conversations are my favourite thing, and I won't shy away from the hard stuff, but you're always safe here.
