About me

I understand how difficult it can be to find help when you need it most. As a fully qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor I offer a gentle and empathetic approach to my work and am passionate about helping clients to achieve their goals. I work with clients who are experiencing a range of issues and understand that your wellbeing is of paramount importance. People come to therapy to explore the uncertainty in their lives. Often they will experience emotions such as fear, anxiety and negative thinking. Although we are unable to change what has happened in the past, we can deepen our understanding and control our response and this belief is at the core of my practice.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Level 5)
  • Cert Hyp CS - Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills
  • Stage 1 Certificate Course: Counselling Young People (11 - 18)
  • Therapy Institute: Working With Couples
  • Trauma Informed Certificate
  • CCBT: Irritable Bowel Syndrome: The Hidden Disorder

I have worked in private practice for four years, prior to that I worked as a volunteer counsellor with Maggie's Cancer Care. I have 30 years experience in supporting families in an educational setting.
