About me
Having trained as an Integrative counselling therapist, I work with an approach most beneficial to each client. This allows us to work at a pace suitable to individual needs. I offer a safe comfortable space, as well as walk and talk sessions in private surroundings.
My client base are adolescents (over 16yrs), adults and couples
My premises are in Suffolk, just on the outskirts of Ipswich and close to the Essex boarder.
I offer a free twenty minute telephone conversation whereby we can assess whether I am the right person for you.
The basis I believe for a good therapeutic working relationship is trust. With trust we can work through the issues that are causing difficulty at this point of your life.
I would like the opportunity for us to work together to help you improve your life for the better. Through the process of reflecting, evaluating and sometimes being challenged I believe we can get you to where you want to be.
Before undertaking my training as a counsellor, I worked for many years within healthcare settings undertaking different roles. I have continued and most recently worked with individuals who were going through cancer treatments and within palliative care. I have also worked for the LGBT network and supported individuals who were considering or had started the process of transitioning.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
