About me
Life can be incredibly challenging, even at the best of times. We can find ourselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected from the person we want to be. Deciding to reach out for support is a brave step, and choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision.
As a Clinical Psychologist practicing in the NHS, I support people experiencing a wide range of challenges, such as the impact of trauma, difficulty regulating emotions, psychosis, low mood, anxiety, and complex health problems. However, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I will take the time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals; tailoring therapy to meet your individual needs. Furthermore, I can draw upon a range of evidence-based therapeutic models to support you, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
My priority is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to process and make sense of your experiences, learn new ways of relating to yourself and others, and move towards changes that matter to you. My hope is that therapy provides you with not only practical strategies, but greater confidence in navigating life's challenges.
If you would like to find out more about me and how I might be able to support you, please do not hesitate to make contact and book a free initial consultation.
