About me
I'm a fully qualified therapist providing a confidential, supportive and professional counselling service. I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental environment where you can feel seen, heard and valued.
Life can be hard and at times it may feel very overwhelming, sometimes we find ourselves feeling lost or stuck in an uncomfortable place. Difficult emotions, thoughts, fears and life events can become too much to bear. Counselling can help you to make sense of past or present issues that may be affecting your daily life and overcome the obstacles you are facing.
I provide a calm, respectful and fully accepting space, where you will be able to explore your feelings and experiences, at your own pace, without fear of judgement. With the aim of finding new ways to live your life, develop better ways of coping, create positive change and enhance personal-growth and well-being.
I have a wealth of experience in helping clients with a wide variety of difficulties and concerns including (but not limited to) anxiety and panic, depression, stress, shame, bereavement, anger, low self-esteem, self-harm, trauma, abuse, emotional difficulties, family issues and relationship problems.
Working with me: my approach
As an integrative counsellor, I am able to draw on a variety of theories and techniques such as person-centred, psychodynamic or CBT, to tailor an approach that will most effectively help you. I take into account your individual needs, helping you to explore and cope with your problems in a safe, informal and understanding environment. We will work together to achieve the best outcome, empowering you to live life to your full potential.
I am fully insured and work by the ethical guidelines as outlined by the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) of which I am a member.
I offer both short and long-term therapy, depending on your needs.
Getting Started:
Please give me a call, text, or email to set up a free of charge, no obligation, informal telephone call. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the counselling process, I will happily answer your queries. I aim to respond to emails or messages within 24 hours.
I provide Face to Face sessions, based in a comfortable and private counselling room in Sutton Coldfield, located close to Good Hope hospital. Parking available.
I also provide Online sessions over Zoom and Telephone.
I offer Walk and Talk therapy in Sutton Park: Counselling in the open-air can be a helpful method of working, some clients are more relaxed walking and talking and feel more comfortable in discussing their problems. Working therapeutically outdoors can help with feelings of anxiety, stress, anger or feeling stuck. The physical space and headspace that being outside provides releases endorphins and is generally mood-enhancing.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
