About me

 Hello, I’m Andrea,

I’m a trauma therapist with personal experience of trauma, abuse, CPTSD, substance abuse, and co-dependency. These lived experiences allow me to connect with deep empathy and offer meaningful support on your healing journey.

I provide a safe, compassionate space—either face-to-face or online—where you can explore your emotions, behaviours, and patterns without fear of judgment. As a Person-Centered Therapist, I believe that you are the expert on your own life. Sometimes, all you need is a gentle, guiding presence to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and find your way forward.

Much of my work includes gently reconnecting with the inner child—those younger parts of yourself that may still carry unprocessed pain, unmet needs, or survival strategies. Through inner child work, we can begin to heal old wounds at the root, fostering a sense of safety, wholeness, and emotional freedom.

Together, we’ll explore what’s been keeping you stuck, so you can begin to shift old patterns and create space for healthier ways of being. This is a place where you can move beyond just coping and start feeling more grounded, balanced, and aligned with your true self.

Therapy can be the key to letting go of what no longer serves you and rediscovering who you truly are—beneath the roles, the protective layers, and the overwhelm. There’s nothing you can’t bring into this space.

Being person-centered means I work in a non-directive, non-judgmental way—always at your pace, and always with respect for your unique path.

If you're ready for change, reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see how I can support you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
