About me

You may be someone others depend on. The one who keeps things moving, holds things together, and rarely lets things drop. From the outside, you seem capable and in control, but internally it can feel heavier than it looks. You might find yourself experiencing anxiety, overthinking, or a constant sense of pressure, sometimes including panic or difficulty switching off.

Over time, this can become exhausting. You may be used to pushing through, taking responsibility, or holding things in, even when something does not feel quite right underneath. In our work together, we slow things down and begin to make sense of what has been difficult to carry on your own. This often includes understanding the roles you have taken on, the expectations you hold yourself to, and how these patterns have developed over time.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally aware and neuro-affirming. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self-confidence, and panic attacks, including those with symptoms of Generalised Anxiety Disorder and those navigating neurodivergence or feeling different in how they think and experience the world. Therapy is shaped around you, with sessions that are steady, reflective and collaborative, offering space to think, feel and understand yourself more clearly without pressure to have everything figured out.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an MBACP registered integrative psychotherapist, with training in Transactional Analysis. My work is trauma-informed, culturally aware and neuro-affirming.

Alongside my clinical training, I bring over 15 years’ experience in qualitative research, specialising in understanding behaviour, patterns, and how people make sense of their experiences. This informs a thoughtful and attuned way of working, particularly when exploring the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others.

I hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling and Integrative Psychotherapy, and continue to develop my practice through ongoing training and clinical supervision. I am currently undertaking additional training in supporting neurodivergent clients, including ADHD, autism and dyslexia.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

Sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly at a consistent time. This supports continuity and allows the work to develop in a steady and meaningful way. Payment is required in advance of each session.

I offer a small number of reduced-fee spaces, which are currently full.

Further information

I work with clients who are open to looking at themselves more deeply, even when this feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable at times. This is not about quick fixes, but about developing a clearer understanding of yourself that leads to more lasting change.

Sessions are weekly and held at a consistent time, creating a steady and reliable space to think, reflect and make sense of your experience.

You do not need to have the right words or a clear starting point. We begin with where you are.
