About me
Sometimes people come to therapy because life has become overwhelming. Sometimes they come because they have spent years carrying everything for everyone else whilst quietly struggling themselves.
I offer a warm, grounded and non-judgemental space for adults, children and young people who may be experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, neurodiversity-related challenges or major life changes.
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist specialising in trauma, neurodiversity and emotional resilience. My approach is relational and person-centred, meaning therapy adapts around you as an individual rather than expecting you to fit into a particular model or process.
Alongside traditional therapy sessions, I also offer walk and talk therapy across Knutsford (WA16) and Anglesey (LL65). Many people find outdoor therapy feels less clinical and more natural, particularly if sitting face-to-face in a therapy room feels difficult or overwhelming. Sessions are paced gently and collaboratively, creating space to think, process and breathe whilst walking in calm surroundings.
My background includes supporting:
- trauma and PTSD
- anxiety and panic
- ADHD and autism
- self-harm and suicidal thoughts
- burnout and emotional exhaustion
- confidence and identity struggles
- children and young people
- sports professionals and young athletes
As founder of Stable Minds CIC, I have worked extensively within community mental health, supporting individuals and families through both early intervention and more complex emotional difficulties. My work is rooted in creating safe, human and accessible support where people feel genuinely heard without judgement.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting. My aim is to offer a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself and supported enough to begin moving forward at your own pace.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

What to Expect
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if this is your first experience of reaching out for support. My approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental, creating a space where you can talk openly at your own pace.
Every session is tailored around you and your individual needs. I work flexibly and creatively, adapting sessions to what feels most supportive and comfortable for each person. This may include traditional talking therapy, emotional regulation work, mindfulness, creative approaches, animal-assisted therapy or walk and talk therapy.
I work in a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-aware way, meaning emotional safety, flexibility and genuine human connection remain at the centre of the work we do together.
