About me

I am an experienced and professionally accredited integrative counsellor, I work with both individuals and couples. I have a post graduate specialist training as a psychosexual and relationship therapist, which includes support for specific sexual difficulties, both within relationships and as individuals.

I am bilingual and offer counselling and therapy both in English and Spanish.

I offer short and long-term online therapy via Zoom.

I am an Accredited Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Registered Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and abide by their Ethical Framework Code of Ethics.

Relationship / Couples Therapy

As well as working on your individual issues I can also work with you to change how you relate to others. I also have experience of working with monogamous and non-monogamous couples. I welcome gender and sexual diversity, and work with heterosexual, LGBT and gender variance clients.

As a trained therapist and impartial party, I can help you and your partner to feel safe and talk honestly about how you are feeling about your relationship.

The issues I can help you with, though are not limited to, include:

  • Anger
  • Conflict and disagreement
  • Communication issues
  • Negotiating non-monogamy
  • Recovering from infidelity
  • Separation and divorce
  • Sex and sexual difficulties

Psychosexual / Sex Therapy

Although we live in a very sexualised society, talking about sex and sexual problems can still be difficult.  I offer a confidential and safe place to talk about sex and any sex difficulties you may be experiencing in a non-shaming way.

Together we will look at what is troubling you or what is stopping you from having the sex that you want. I work on these issues with individuals and with couples.

I believe human nature and sexuality are naturally diverse and I have worked with a wide range of clients who identify as heterosexual, asexual, bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender or non-binary and am comfortable exploring kink and other sexual interests.

The issues I can help you with, though are not limited to, include:

  • Anxiety around sex
  • Gender Identity and Sexual identity Issues, LGBT+
  • Loss or lack of sexual desire
  • Orgasmic difficulties
  • Painful Intercourse (Dyspareunia)
  • Vaginismus
  • Erectile Difficulties (Erectile Dysfunction)
  • Ejaculation Difficulties (Ejaculatory Dysfunction)
  • Out of Control Sexual Behaviour (Sex addiction)
  • Survivors of Sexual abuse
  • Chemsex

I do not consider it ethical to embark in “reparative or conversion therapy” or change anyone’s sexual orientation.

Member organisations

school Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

COSRT
College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT)

COSRT is the UK’s leading membership organisation for therapists specialising in sexual and relationship issues.

All members must abide by their Code of Ethics and the performance of accredited members is regularly monitored.
