About me

I work 1-1 with adolescents and adults as a client-lead, humanistic counsellor.

I have a particular, special interest in narcissistic relationship recovery and additionally work with many presenting concerns including grief, anxiety, stress, anger management, depression and working through change

I am a trained and dedicated Humanistic therapist, integrating Person Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Existentialism approaches and psycho-education. In addition, some aspects of my practice involve CBT and creative means, offering a diverse counselling experience and an ability to explore topics in a combination of ways. 

Sessions are held in my dedicated counselling cabin, outdoors or online. I offer regular, weekly short or long-term counselling appointments and single or drop-in appointments when available.

I am a member of BACP and an Accredited member of NCS and adhere to all ethical frameworks.

Training, qualifications & experience

Humanistic counselling including person centred, gestalt, transactional analysis and existential approaches.  Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and creative therapy (art and writing).

I have worked for over 9 years in mindfulness, mentoring and counselling and take an approach to my work which allows clients to feel at ease, safe and comfortable and able to choose to work across many mediums as need arises.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
