About me
I am an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist. My primary focus is on the client and their story. You are the expert in your own experience, and I bring psychological expertise so that we can solve the emotional puzzle together. I strive to create a safe, non-judgemental and trusting therapeutic space, and aim to foster an environment where you feel comfortable and supported to process your experience. With this in place, I support people in implementing interventions and coping strategies that relieve distress and achieve meaningful change. I aim to ensure that we maintain a transparent and solid therapeutic relationship.
I offer an integrative approach, where I draw on evidence-based therapy models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and others as necessary. I am also trained in Eye Movement and Desensitisation (EMDR) therapy.
Therapy is a journey, and I can relate to how unnerving it can be to start this process. I work at my client's pace and typically see clients dealing with a variety of issues, including but not limited to:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Anger
- Low self-esteem
- PTSD/C-PTSD
- Life transitions
- Loss of identity
- Bereavement
- Relational difficulties
Training, qualifications & experience

I have been working with a large variety of mental health presentations in adults, young people, and children since 2017. My specialism is working with symptoms and presentations stemming from trauma.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
