About me
I am a warm and relational counsellor and together we can focus on whatever you would like to bring.
Perhaps you are facing anxiety, burnout, relationship pressures, or repeating patterns that leave you feeling stuck. You may have found yourself thinking that something has to change, but you are not sure how.
You don’t have to work this all out by yourself.
Together, we can help you to:
- Understand your emotions and recurring patterns
- Work out what you truly need — at your own pace, without judgment.
- Get a clearer understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface, even when it’s hard to explain.
- Find practical ways to reconnect with yourself — feeling calmer, and more in control.
I know how challenging life can feel - I have lived experience of the stress that results from juggling work and family life. Whether you’re overwhelmed, feeling stuck, or simply exhausted from holding everything on your own, I can support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.
My approach is warm, and supportive. I will work alongside you and at your pace.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different counselling approaches so that we can work in a way that feels right for you and your unique situation. I believe that a genuine, trusting counselling relationship can bring about meaningful change.
I offer a calm and supportive space where you can talk openly and be heard without judgment.
Finding a counsellor you trust is so important. It can take courage to ask for help - I offer an initial short phone call for us to talk and explore what your needs are.
I work with both hearing and also Deaf clients - I am fluent in British Sign Language (BSL), and I offer a safe, accessible counselling space for Deaf and hard of hearing clients, as well as for parents of Deaf children who wish to explore the unique experiences and pressures they face.
If you would like to take the next step, please do get in touch via email to chat through how I might be able to support you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
